Rotational sports place unique demands on the spine, hips, and shoulders that most general care doesn't account for. I look at the mechanics, load patterns, and sport-specific demands behind what's happening, not just where it hurts.
Swimming
Shoulder impingement, catch mechanics, scapular stability, overhead load. I swam competitively for four years, so I understand this sport from the inside and not just from a textbook.
Golf
Thoracic rotation, hip-shoulder separation, lead hip stability, lumbar load and follow-through deceleration. Golf injuries are usually a mechanics problem, not just a tissue problem.
Tennis
Lateral hip stability, rotator cuff demand, serve mechanics, split-step loading. The goal is keeping you on the court through a full season, not just getting you through the acute phase.
Pickleball
Shoulder mechanics, lateral hip stability, elbow position and deceleration demands. Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in Mobile and the injury patterns are very specific.
